The instrument
Of course the dial of the Scuderia Veloce, the face of the watch, is inspired by automotive instruments. We chose the simple, but extremely efficient black/white/red colour scheme, as readability in instruments is a key factor.
The idea is to merge traditional and modern design elements.
The dial is housed quite deep in the case – to avoid any disturbing reflections, just as it was done in the legendary italian sports cars, giving it that real automotive look and feel.
Maximum readability
The sophisticated hands are in a speedy red and in a rather unusual form, still assuring great readability. Their design is visibly leggero, as saving weight is a main element in all sports cars.
The second hand is red in the Automatica and black in the Quartz version.
A great moment: The prototype dials arrive and they are just gorgeous! (Honestly, it took two attempts. The first ones were lousy.)
